Nars - Radiant Creamy Concealer - Shade Custard | Review & Swatches by a French Girl

As far as I can remember, I always had really dark circles. I think I may have been born with them. Concealer is one of the very first makeup products I bought back in my teenage years. I never go out without mascara AND concealer. To be completely honest, my dark circles are one of my biggest insecurities. Whether I am sleep deprived or not, I always have very dark circles. Even when I try to conceal them, they always show (even if it is not really showing on picture, they are not fully covered).
So that is why, I am always on the hunt for THE perfect concealer mixing and combining coverage and a long-lasting formula (without being too "cakey" though).
In 10 years, I still haven't found a concealer that fully satisfy me and covers my terrible dark circles. That is why, when my favorite beauty gurus kept saying the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer was amazing, I HAD to try it out. The product retails for €27 which is a little pricey so I waited to have a "coupon code" on

I decided to go for the Custard shade, which is one of the lighter shades with a yellow undertone. Overall, I like this concealer. It has a good coverage and does not dry out the under eye. However, the concealer can have a cakey effect if, like me, you apply too much product.
Even though I found that this concealer is great, I do not fully understand the huge buzz on YouTube.
But let's face it, my dark circles are quite bad and I cannot blame the product for not providing a full coverage.

What about you: did you try the Nars concealer? What did you think about it?
Do you have any suggestions for my dark circles?

  1. I have the Nars creamy concealer too and I like it but I prefer the Essence stay all day concealer x

  2. Thank you for your suggestion Heather! I bet the Essence stay all day is cheaper than the Nars one? xx
